I used to watch the reality TV show that deals with naughty child. It took one month, finally changing a naughty child from terror to angel. But there was somebody who changed totally like the child. They were parents. In the program, the first step to getting things done was changing parents. As this case shows, it is self-evident that parents are best teacher for child. The rationale behind this is in the following.


First off, parents teach their children knowledge which does not fall under the category of “textbook”. When I was a little girl, I asked my father. “Dad, when I’m walking down the street, where my eyes should be?” Even if the question was absurd to him, he answered clearly. The answer that I got was “Not too far but not too close.” Countless common sense, which makes me live an ordinary life, comes from my parents in this way.

Moreover, parents’ teaching has a significant impact on children’s life. As for me, parents encouraged me to save money by forcing me to make savings account deposit at banks. Thanks to it, I realize that the pleasure of buying what I want is not more than that of saving. Ever since I was a kid, their advices have helped me choose the paths and become the core principles for my life. It is more than just reading books or listening lessons. It will be remembered in my heart.


There’s a saying that I like. “The world’s best food is mother food.” It can also apply to this issue. Considering the extent to which knowledge or skills have been acquired from parents, the world's best teachers are none other than parents.
