Original Text: Centralized Exam
In July 2010, The MoE announced its success in the first time conducting of centralized exam in Puntland secondary schools (both public and private). The history of centralized exam in Puntland has been stated in 1.3 (Background of Centralized Exam).1325 students from 24 secondary schools sat for centralized exam in 2010. 60.3% of students who sat the exam were from private schools. This exam was done smoothly and no problems were reporter to have caused any delay or postponement of examination. Table 1 indicates the number of students who sat centralized exam at public schools break down by school and also Table 2 indicates the number of students who sat centralized exam at private schools break down by school.
Conducting the centralized exam in Puntland will surely be a strong motivation to develop and qualify graduates in the secondary school in both the public and private schools. Equally they will get certificates which is recognized regionally and making it more accessible will certainly play a vital and crucial role in the enhancement of education standards in Puntland. It was notable thing in the history of education in Puntland.

One thousand twenty-five students from 24 secondary schools sat for the centralized exam in 2010. Of these, 60.3% were from private schools. This exam was done smoothly and no problems were reported to have caused any delay or postponement. Table 1 indicates the number of students who sat for the centralized exam at public schools, broken down by school. Table 2 indicates the number of students who sat for the centralized exam at private schools, broken down by school.
Conducting the centralized exam in Puntland will surely be a strong motivation to develop and qualify graduates in the secondary school, both the public and private. Equally, the students will receive certificates recognized regionally. Making these more accessible will certainly play a vital and crucial role in the enhancement of educational standards in Puntland. It was a notable point in the history of education in Puntland.
