Original Text: Child Care Essay
In this essay I will be talking about the differences between children who stay home, and children who go to daycare. I will use details, and examples to give reason to my opinions.
A child who is left at daycare is at a higher risk for catching an illness, a child who stays at home has better chances of staying healthy. Some children in daycare have working parents, this means they can’t stay home until they are completely well again.
When a child is left at day care they are more susceptible to picking up bad habits from other children. Some kids have problems with hitting, biting, kicking, and throwing fits. When a child realizes that these actions get attention for the other kids, they will want to see if it works for them.
There are Also many good qualities to letting children attend daycare. An only child who attends daycare on a regular basis will learn good social skills such as, Playing nice, sharing, caring, and respect. An only child who stays at home may not have the opportunity to learn these things.
These are my opinions on how day care can affect children in both positive and negative ways.

Revised Text:
This essay is my opinion on the differences between children who stay home, and children who go to daycare.
A child who is left at daycare is at a higher risk for catching an illness, a child who stays at home has a better chance of staying healthy. Some children in daycare have working parents, this means the children can’t stay home until they are completely well again after an illness.
When children are left at day care they are more susceptible to picking up bad habits from other children. Some kids have problems with hitting, biting, kicking, and throwing fits. When a child realizes that these actions get attention for the other kids, they will want to see if it works for them also.
There are also good reasons for letting children attend daycare. For example, an only child who attends daycare on a regular basis will learn good social skills such as; playing nice, sharing, caring, and respect. An only child who stays at home may not have the opportunity to learn these things.
Day care can affect children in both positive and negative ways.
