According to Figure 12, the type of oil has no effect on the powertrain efficiency. In addition, increasing the oil temperature the powertrain efficiency will decrease slightly. The variation of the efficiency due to oil temperature variation is under 0.2%. It is because the average of the roller tilting angle during ECE cycle is approximately zero (see Figure 11), and according to Figure 7, in zero roller tilting angle the efficiency is insensitive to the oil temperature.
