Suddenly the phone rang.
“I’ll get it mom.”
“Hello?”
“Normand, its Charlie.”
“Hay man, did you buy the bike?”
“Yes I did, and she’s a beauty.”
“Ten speed?”
“Nope, its an eighteen speeder.”
“No kidding, an eighteen hunh.”
“What do you say we meet later on?”
For some odd reason he sensed that he had to go to Dennison Boulevard, it seemed to be the best place.
“Sure Charlie, where?”
“Dennison Boulevard.”
“On Dennison’s hun-, why Dennison?”
Charlie had no specific reason to offer him and wondered why himself.
“I don’t know-, just Dennison that’s all.”
“Ok then, lets say we meet there at around 9:00pm.”
“See you later.” click Rrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Fifth street had an angle of 25° and the length of three blocks. At the top stood the town’s water tank with (Golden Valley...POPULATION: 30.000) written in giant black letters.
Although Linda had a good head start, she was beginning to slow down. She was starting to feel the pull in her legs and her breathing was heavier. Sweat was beginning to flow down her temples. The night was maybe just a little too warm, but she knew that once she would reach the top, there would surly be a gentle breeze. The STOP Signe was approximately another hundred feet ahead. With one last sprint, she gave everything that she had, and within no time at all she reached the top.
