Original Text: The Field 3
In back of the old bleachers, cars were being parked long side the gravel road. At 8:00pm, the high lampposts were already shining bright above the field. Although there was a small canteen, which furnished hotdogs chips and beverages, some folks enjoyed bringing along a little flask of alcohol, while others preferred a thermos filled with hot coffee in case it got a little chilly during the evening. The old baseball bleachers needed more than just a few coats of fresh paint. Now that there was a new baseball field neighboring the arena at the northern part of town, the old one was being neglected. Eventually this old one would have to be replaced by some new project. But for the moment, the same Faithfull’s that came every year were still enjoying it.

Eventually this old one would have to be replaced by some new project, but for the moment, the faithful that came every year were still enjoying it.
