Original Text: The Field 8
Charlie is happy to see that his two friends are there. Little Normand Chassé and Linda Cardinal smile as they see Charlie enter the small playground. Barbara Adams leaves Charlie in the sand pile and walks towards one of the swings. A book is in her hand: a novel of romance. Barbara loves reading love stories and will try to finish it tonight, if she can. She tried desperately to rape it up during the week but was always interrupted by something or another. She is about to sit on one of the swings when something distracts her. She looks towards the woods near bye.
“What was...?”
She’s a little confused. She could have sworn she just saw children. But that is impossible children playing at this time in the woods; however, it gave her the creeps.
Come on girl, there’s nothing there; it was just your imagination playing tricks on you again.

Elizabeth finds a place on one of the lower bleachers, puts the cushion down and sits on it. Just a little higher among the crowd she notices Helen Chassé and Jennifer Cardinal waving at her. She waves back but turns her attention to the game witch just started. Impulsively, both
