TV not only plays a role as an entertainment center in everybody’s house, but it also put an ease to their working pressure. I firmly believe TV is capable of improving relationships amongst family members and friends through communication in many implicitly positive ways.
First of all, the opportunity to successfully come into contact with others is there as people watch TV. It is obvious that most of them have at least one favorite program on TV such as American Idols, which they always feast their eyes upon. Hence, friends can spend hours on watching TV and sharing their common hobbies or idols together without tiredness. The more time they chat and laugh the more chance they have to interact with others. Although a clash of personal viewpoints may occur sometimes, people hold the potential to know others better. According to expert psychologists, it is the close-knit moments that cultivate superior relationships between people in such a natural way.
Finally, relaxing with TV, to some extent, has an optimistic effect on people’s attitude toward others. When people enjoy their preferable TV shows to relieve their working stress, many might find it much more comfortable to starting conservation with family members. This is due to a positive feeling formed after entertainment. As far as I know, a person in the merry mood usually has a certain interesting way to make an intimate atmosphere among members. Consequently, it makes people easily sympathize with others.
Taking everything into considerations, TV contributes to providing comfort in communication between people in term of their common interests and attitude.
